Initially when the professor told us that we would have to have a blog for this class and respond to management issues i felt like it would be something that would just take up my time and be of little value to me. As we began to do the class activities and began receiving our assignments it became clearer how this blog would seek to benefit us. As i read other peoples blogs you could see the various styles of management we had in just our class and by responding and sometimes even going back and forth with people on certain posts we could learn from each other and further develop our own strategies. Group members could point out your strengths and weaknesses. This helped in many ways to express your opinions on the class activities when sometimes it was too hectic for you to be able to participate.
Personally i dont think my blog will go beyond this class. I dont see how my 3 followers would be interested in my daily activities or experiences but, I must say i feel this blog is an extremely useful and effective tool for this management class and should remain so in your future courses.
I am glad i was "pushed" into making a blog because it has given me an insight into opinions and ideas that i might not have been exposed to without it. Thank you to all the classmates and Professor Kurpis for making this course into what it is!
This blog assignment was time consuming but it is important to remember that it is a part of the final grade. Everybody was creative in his/her own way. Thank You and Professor Kurpis for being part of this class!
